FREE NATIONAL PARK BUS SERVICE

  The Ballycroy National Park Free Bus Service will commence on Monday 10th July 2017 and run until the 30th August 2017. The bus service will run daily from Bangor Erris to Newport (and vice versa), stopping at Ballycroy National Park Visitor Centre, the Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail, Mulranny, Wild Nephin at Srahrevagh (going through Srahmore) and Newport. Daily Guided Walks

This July & August Ballycroy National Park Visitor Centre will be holding daily guided walks along the 'Tóchar Daithí Bán' nature trail. Join our guides as they explore the ecology and formation of this wetland habitat. The walk will last approximately one hour, starting at 2:30pm, and will see the visitors embark on a looped walk around the visitor centre's 2km trail. Exploratory Walk

This Saturday, June 24th, Ballycroy National Park are assisting Birdwatch Ireland with their evening time walk through the Enniscoe countryside. The walk will see participants explore the Enniscoe countryside discovering the varied wildlife that inhabit the area. The cost of attending the event is €3, which goes towards the cost of refreshments provided after the walks conclusion. On Wednesday the 21st of June from the viewing point platform at the Céide Fields, the Ballycroy National Park is holding a Peregrine Falcon watch day.
